“QUADERNI DI UN TERRORISTA” (“NOTEBOOKS OF A TERRORIST”) BY GIANO CORTE MOSCHIN (BIBLIOTECA DEI LEONI)
Described by Giorgio Barberi Squarotti as “the novel about Italy’s ‘years of lead’ that we were all waiting for.” A diary that runs from 1968 to 1993, a time bomb that is the spiritual offspring of the real bombs set off in years of strategic terror and the climate of latent violence of which they were the inevitable consequence. The protagonist, author of the diary, is atypical, although no less representative of a time that left material and moral scars that have yet to heal. He recounts hereto uncovered and unexplored aspects of some of the most shocking events of those years, from Piazza Fontana in Milan, Torre dei Pulci in Florence and Piazza del Popolo in Rome to the number 904 Rapido train bombing.
Book presentation organised by Luigi Crivellaro and Paolo Ruffilli.
