JOYCE LUSSU AND HO CHI MINH

Tuesday 24 February 2015 POETRY 5.00 pm – admission free

We present the reissue of the prison diary of Ho Chi Minh, major protagonist of twentieth century history, in Joyce Lussu’s splendid translation. Lussu is one of the leading proponents of the codification and recording of the events that have left their mark on generations of young people since 1968. The book is edited by Chiara Cretella and Giacomo Ferrarello. For years Chiara Cretella has been involved in republishing precious and hard to find texts that help us to examine the present by rereading the past. Reading and discussion with Chiara Cretella (University of Bologna) and Giuliana Grando (Psychoanalyst and Secretary of the Associazione Nazionale di Amicizia Italia-Cuba)
Presented by Anna Lombardo
