A HUNDRED DINNERS FOR SLOW WINE 2013: THE DELIGHTS OF VENETO AND HISTORICAL VENETIAN CUISINE
A prestigious food and wine event (with a very small number of places that must be booked in advance) for the Slow Food National “Hundred Dinners” Evening at the Bistrot de Venise, celebrating the combination of regional Italian cuisine with the wines picked out for their quality in the 2013 Slow Wine Guide.
A starring role in the exclusive dinner will be played by Venetian dishes, from the Renaissance to Classical Traditions. They will be matched with a selection of 5 or 6 Veneto wines picked out by the 2013 Slow Wine Guide as: Outstanding Wines – Everyday Wines – Slow Wines.
An overview of the wines and the philosophy behind the Slow Wine Guide will be given by Fabio Giavedoni, the national coordinator, and Maria Grazia Melegari, the Veneto representative. Participants will be given a copy of the 2013 Slow Wine Guide (on sale from October).
There are only enough places for 24 people and it is necessary to book in advance by calling (0039) 348 4105095.
Coordinators: Sergio Fragiacomo and Donatella Laboranti (the representative for Slow Food Venice).
